Duration: 3 Months Initially World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for a PowerBuilder / PL/SQL Developer to work as part of a mid-sized team to enhance one of the core Trading Applications. Accountable for the design, development, implementation and testing of complex PowerBuilder screens and / back-end PL/SQL code. Skills and Experience: - PowerBuilder (5+years) development skills, Oracle PL/SQL , Oracle 10g/11g, Unix/Linux, Visual Source Safe. Optional: - Experience in DB2 and C#.Net experience - Rational Clear Quest - SQL Navigator - Oracle Gateway - Energy or commodity trading experience - Excellent communication skills, analysis, design, OO, motivated self-starter This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
