Polartec -- forget what type, Thermal Pro? I think I wore it almost every day this winter... very comfortable and warm, doesn't overheat me indoors and keeps me warm outdoors. 2) Hyllus Hoody. Polartec -- forget what type, PowerShield? Go-to jacket when it is cold but not wet. Layer underneath depending on how cold it is. Another great piece. 3) Beta LT. Lightweight and very tough, fits very well... it's gore pro shell, so completely waterproof... throw on top when it is wet. Probably wouldn't use as a summer rain jacket though. 4) Beta SL. Similar to LT but cheaper, even lighter weight, Goretex Paclite - still waterproof but not as tough. This I will wear as a summer rain jacket as I find it keeps cooler. 5) Almost forgot since I haven't worn it since the fall.. For warmer weather, summer nights, spring etc: Gamma MX jacket... I find it very versatile and comfortable in a wide range, not water proof but as with most of their outerwear it does have DWR. I have all sorts of other stuff of theirs, and I really like all of it but the above ones are probably the ones I use the most. The Rho and Phase lines are nice for underwear and such. --> Last edited by BinaryJay; Mar 6th, 2014 at 06:43 PM. --> Reply With Quote LOG IN TO THANK 1 person has thanked BinaryJay for this post. --> Mar 6th, 2014 06:48 PM #5 cgg123321 Sr. Member Join Date Feb 11th, 2007 Posts 527 Thanked 201 times for 65 posts Originally Posted by BinaryJay From my collection my favourite pieces are, and I think you should get if you can: 1) Delta AR fleece. So the sale usually has quite a bit of selection? I've been to some sample sales where they only have 1 or 2 of each style with horrible size selection --> Reply With Quote LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked cgg123321 for this post. --> Mar 6th, 2014 06:54 PM #6 bokchoy Deal Addict Join Date Jul 10th, 2003 Location Burnaby Posts 1,119 Thanked 20 times for 8 posts If it's anything like the past 2 times I went, don't bother if you wear size S or lower for mens. Most everything is L/XL . I ended up having to buy a few jackets off the shelf to get proper sizing. Down the street and around the corner. I have a friend who works there, according to him, every year it gets bigger and the line seems to get longer. They have great selection throughout the weekend, but choice gear and crazy deals (usually on the low quantity leftovers) are only to be had on the first day as they sell out quick. If you're looking for a jacket at a good price, then you'll be able to find something in the 40%-50% range all weekend. If you're going for the 70% off stuff, make sure to be in line, early. --> Reply With Quote LOG IN TO THANK 1 person has thanked thatguy1 for this post. --> Mar 6th, 2014 09:45 PM #10 TheLowBaller Member Join Date Dec 26th, 2005 Location Vancouver Posts 482 Thanked 57 times for 32 posts Originally Posted by BinaryJay The best gear. If you are willing to buy at "just" 40-50% off, then LiveOutThere.com or TheLastHunt might be better alternatives for Arc'teryx stuff. More sizes, no line-up, free shipping, + warranty. Much cheaper than buying in Canada. In previous years I would visit and like others posted if you're not in the first group that gets in the door then all the Medium and smaller sizes sell out fairly quickly. I find it much easier to just buy from US stores. --> Reply With Quote LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked upsydaisy for this post. --> Page 1 of 2 12 Next Last Jump to page: Settings Private Messages Subscriptions Search Forums Forums Home Deals & Freebies Hot Deals Ongoing Deal Discussion Group Deals Group Deal Discussion Coupons Freebies Shopping Discussion Request-A-Deal Contests Expired Offers Expired Contests Expired Deals Expired Group Deals Expired Freebies Expired Coupons RedFlagDeals.com Buy, Sell, and Trading Post Buy, Sell, and Trading Post BST: Apparel BST: Automotive & Accessories BST: Cameras and Accessories BST: Cell Phones & Accessories BST: Computer Hardware, Tablets, Software & Accessories BST: Electronics BST: Gift Cards BST: Textbooks BST: Tickets BST: Video Games, Music & Movies BST: Everything Else Free Stuff Group Buys Scammers and Warnings Archived BST Posts Site Related The Welcome to RedFlagDeals.com Forum Site Comments & Suggestions Discussion Art and Photography Automotive Careers Computers & Electronics Cell Phones Entertainment PC & Video Games Entrepreneurship & Small Business Fashion & Apparel Beauty & Wellness Food & Drink Home & Garden Green / Eco-Friendly Parenting Personal Finance Investing Pets Students Sports & Recreation Fitness and Nutrition Travel Off Topic Off Topic Archive Archives Past Promotions/Archives RFD 3rd Anniversary: Win an Xbox!
