And with added knuckle protection this is an excellent option for dry tooling, winter mountain biking or skiing as well as winter walking. The main body of the glove uses Polartec PowerShield a totally windproof and highly breathable fabric. Though it's not waterproof it will turn light rain and snow and contains a perforated membrane that will resist water. The palm is Clarino, a strong, durable and breathable synthetic leather that will resist water and will remain comfortable even when cold and wet. Protection in the knuckle area is assured by a Neoprene padding, making these a great choice when using winter tools. They're not (and don't pretend to be) waterproof, but windproof, will shed light rain, warm when wet and dry out pretty quickly. The stretchy material helps provide a good fit and remain comfortable. I love these gloves and are my turn to for low intensity activities in mild conditions or high intensity activities in colder ones.
